The Women of Hillside encourage and guide women to find their purpose within the body of Chris by identifying and using the spiritual gifts that God has given them. We seek to encourage connection, spiritual growth, and service for women of all ages.

Our prayer is that each woman will grow in her knowledge and understanding of Jesus as her Lord and Savior, fully awakening to the personal realization that she is a new creation in Christ. We are loved, chosen, forgiven, and fearfully and wonderfully made. Through our gifts and the guidance of Scriptural Truth, we equip each other and edify the body of Christ. In authentic fellowship and a Spirit-led community, we will walk together in true freedom, breaking every chain of shame, comparison, and isolation so that we can fully embrace our identity in Him. We will encourage one another in love and boldly live out a life of faith, spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Join us in serving with Shop for Mom as we prepare to make the holidays brighter for families at the Cherokee Family Violence Center! You can donate, help assemble, or serve at the event on December 5th.

Donations: 
This ministry needs practically new gloves, hats, scarves, jewelry, purses, books, candles, lotions, small home goods, and kitchen items. Drop off at Hillside Church anytime in November at a bin in the Celebration Hall Lobby or the Sanctuary Hall.

Serve: Serve at the Cherokee Family Violence Center in Canton, GA on November 5th. Contact Susan Coker below for details.

Mangers are Messy is a refreshed look at Luke 2 that will give you something new to take into the Advent / Christmas season and new year.  Have you ever ….

• Asked “God where are you in this?”
• Wondered where the peace is that is promised?
• Thought – ugh, I can’t wait for this season to just be done?

 
I have and I know how hard this season is when those questions weigh. This fellowship gathering is right where you need to be as we’ll find those answers and reframe the season to one that becomes something that never ends.

Ladies Bible studies are a fantastic way to grow in fellowship and friendship with other women here at Hillside Church.  We encourage you to find a day and time that works best and join the group.  The studies change throughout the year, but the love, friendship, and encouragement are always present.  
Current studies meet:
Sunday afternoon:  3 - 5 p.m.  Room 2202. New study starting November 8th on "The Case for Christmas", by Lee Strobel - Contact Heather Gerick

Tuesday evening:  7 - 9 p.m. Room 2208. New study starting November 12th and will deep dive into Unpacking Advent over five weeks. - Contact Denise Roberts

Unshaken:  A Call to the Front Lines

What a whirlwind of a weekend! Like a hurricane!

The Women of Hillside, along with women from Macland Community Church, Canton First Methodist, Center Point GMC, Stonebridge, and Cobb Vineyard all came together during the month of October at Shocco Springs Retreat Center in Talladega, Alabama. We learned through our Guest Speaker, Rev. Judy Stevenson, that we each have our own armor and it may look different, but we stand firm together in Christ, and through Him, that armor is impenetrable. We are loved, chosen, forgiven, and we have the power and authority to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil through Jesus Christ. The Lord blessed and protected the women who attended the 2026 Women of Hillside Retreat. He is faithful, He is full of grace and mercy, and He is worthy of our praise!!

What an incredible and special weekend. Can't wait to see you all next year!
